The Casa Agrícola Valbom is located in Valbom dos Figos, a typical interior village of the council of Mirandela, in the homogenous zone of warm Land, northeast region of Portugal. Founded at the end of the XIX century by João Bento de Carvalho, great grandfather of the current owners, the “Casa Valbom” has grown in dimension and technology. Associating ancestral knowledge with modern agricultural technologies in biological production, to obtain distinct products that appeal to the aromas, to the origins and to the best traditions of the region.

The olive oil “Origens” was created by Filomena Branco Carvalho Neto, having its exploration being held in Mascarenhas in the council of Mirandela. Associating tradition, quality and innovation with modern agricultural techniques in biological production, it obtains distinct products that appeal to the aromas, the origins, and the best traditions of the North-East “Transmontano”. Being it an appealing brand for its content and image, it is distinguished in the Bio and Gourmet markets.

The press in Mascarenhas was built in 1962 by Antonio Maria Branco. Was built to transform the own olives as well as the other producers in the region, who pay the service with the traditional way of glosses, leaving a percentage of their product as payment. Today it remains the same philosophy of work, having been improved the facilities and the concept of quality in their own producers.
